Advancing in Ministry

Summer Missions

This 6-week program teaches young adults (highschool or college-aged) how to share the Gospel, lead others, and follow God.

Year-round Mentorship

For adults or those who know they’re called into ministry. AIM provides training, resources, and counseling to help you explore your calling.

Ministry Internships

AIM is designed to provide hands-on experience as participants explore their calling. This provides training and mentorship.

AIM is a comprehensive, multi-levelled program to help you advance in the ministry that God has called you to do. Our AIM coordinators are available to help you if you have a desire to serve God in a greater way but aren’t sure about your calling. Please also contact an AIM coordinator if you are looking for more information, a church who wants to set up a ministry internship, or want to talk about what it means to be called into ministry.

Georgia Baptist Bible Institute

GBBI is a collaborative effort between Friendship Baptist Association churches and Brewton-Parker College to provide Bible knowledge and ministry training for pastors, Sunday School teachers, and other leaders.

The FBA partners with the GBBI to meet a core need of our AIM program – continuing education for those called into ministry.

GBBI classes meet once a week at the Friendship Baptist Association office in Ellaville, GA and are accredited and transferable for larger degree programs.
